Το EcoPulse is an innovative solution that integrates technology and community to improve sustainable urban living. It aims to identify and reduce the environmental footprint in areas such as waste management, transport and crops, helping cities become more "smart" environmentally responsible.
EcoPulse is based on a network of sensors collecting data on air, water and soil quality, as well as information on waste management and transport. These data are processed and presented in mobile and web applications, allowing users to make informed decisions.
EcoPulse offers improved quality of life through reduced pollution, better waste management and sustainable mobility. At the same time, it provides local authorities with data and analysis tools to develop environmental protection strategies and encourages citizens to participate in the ecological management of their city.
EcoPulse is funded by the European Project Climaborough (Horizon Europe) in which the Municipality of Ioannina participates and aims to bridge the gap between the design and implementation of urban innovations to address climate change.
